STORAGE

• Keep container in a cool, well-ventilated area
• Keep away from direct sunlight
• Bulk storage vessels should be made of steel and require a suitable vent or pressure release valve
• Due to risk of explosion DO NOT WELD, CUT OR BURN drums or other vessels containing methylene chloride

PRECAUTIONS

• Do not breathe mist/vapors/spray
• Avoid getting in eyes, skin or on clothing
• Use outdoors or in a well-ventilated area
• Wear protective, gloves/clothing/eye/face protection when handling

FIRST AID

• Eye contact: Flush eyes with running water for approximately 15 minutes while keeping eyelids open for at least 10 minutes, get medical attention immediately
• Skin contact: Flush skin with plenty of water for 15 minutes and remove contaminated clothing/shoes. wash clothing before reuse
• Inhalation: If excessive amount is inhaled , remove to fresh air, seek medical attention if symptoms persist
• Ingestion: If ingested do NOT induce vomiting unless instructed to do so by medical personnel
• Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person
• If person is conscious give them plenty of water, seek medical attention immediately
